For entertainment venues such as KTVs, bars, and party rooms, sound insulation performance directly impacts the surrounding environment and customer experience. Below, we walk you through the professional sound insulation installation protocols for walls, floors, and ceilings of KTVs and bars in detail, paired with 3 illustrative diagrams, to help you resolve noise issues with ease.

Wall Sound Insulation Installation Guide

●Base Preparation:Evenly lay a layer of sound insulation felt on the surface of the wall to be treated. Secure it point-by-point with steel staples to ensure full adhesion with no gaps left between the felt and the wall.

Vibration Reduction & Reinforcement:Install wall vibration dampers at 60cm intervals. Fasten the dampers to the wall using expansion screws that run through the dampers, to boost vibration-dampening efficacy.

Main Keel Framing:First, install the main keels, spacing them 60cm apart to form a basic support framework.

Sound Insulation Filling:Fully fill the gaps within the main keel frame with glass wool boards, ensuring no voids remain to maximize sound insulation capability.

Secondary Keel Fixation:Attach the secondary keels by clamping them in place, with each keel spaced 40cm apart, to further refine the frame structure.

Panel Sealing:Cover the exterior of the secondary keels with damping sound insulation panels, making sure the panels fit tightly against the framework.

Final Sealing:Apply damping structural adhesive along all seams, including panel joints and keel connections, to achieve full-seal sound insulation.

Applicable Scenarios:KTVs, bars, party rooms, EDM rooms and other venues with high-frequency noise pollution

Sound Insulation Layer Thickness:Approximately 15cm

Floor Sound Insulation Installation Guide

●Base Vibration Reduction:Lay a full layer of vibration-dampening pads across the entire floor substrate, ensuring 100% coverage with no gaps, to establish a solid vibration-dampening foundation.

Sound Insulation Overlay:Lay a layer of high-density sound insulation cotton flat on top of the vibration-dampening pads. Enhance sound insulation performance through this layered material design.

Targeted Vibration Reduction:Place vibration-dampening bricks on the sound insulation cotton at 60cm intervals. Cut holes in the corresponding positions of the cotton with a utility knife, then fill the gaps within the vibration-dampening bricks with the cut cotton pieces.

Panel Protection:Lay a layer of sound insulation boards over the vibration-dampening bricks and cotton to create a smooth intermediate layer.

Secondary Sound Insulation:Add another layer of sound insulation felt on the surface of the sound insulation boards to further block noise transmission through the floor.

Surface Finishing:Finally, pour a cement screed over the sound insulation felt. Once the cement has fully cured, lay the floor tiles to complete the overall floor sound insulation installation.

Applicable Scenarios:KTVs, bars, party rooms and EDM rooms located in close proximity to residential areas (requiring focused control over floor-borne noise transmission)

Sound Insulation Layer Thickness:Approximately 10cm

Ceiling Sound Insulation Installation Guide

Top Substrate Preparation:Lay a layer of sound insulation felt on the wall sections adjacent to the ceiling and the ceiling substrate. Secure the felt with steel staples, ensuring tight adhesion to the substrate.

Ceiling Vibration Reduction:Install ceiling vibration dampers at 60cm intervals. Fix the dampers to the overhead structural elements with expansion bolts to enhance the suspended vibration-dampening effect.

Main Keel Erection:Install the main ceiling keels, spacing them 60cm apart to form a stable support frame for the ceiling.

Sound Insulation Filling:Fill all gaps in the main keel frame with glass wool boards, ensuring the boards are fully packed with no empty spaces.

Secondary Keel Fixation:Clamp the secondary keels in place, with each keel spaced 40cm apart, to refine the ceiling frame structure.

Panel Sealing:Cover the underside of the secondary keels with damping sound insulation panels, ensuring the panels are flat and perfectly fitted to the frame.

Final Sealing:Seal all seams—including panel joints and keel connection points—with damping structural adhesive to eliminate noise leakage.
